History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Born in the west to a Cook, Ethereal learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer.
