History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Neega was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Bricklayer. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Nalral hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Nalral hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
