History: Hubert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Emmeline lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barber.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and sabotage a competitor

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
