History: Karg was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a Barrister soon after.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Mormog was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Mormog's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
