Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. The war was a terrible time for him, and Frederick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Frederick was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Frederick decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Dee is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: An older man who wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants, he is not a threatening figure. His hair, while still mostly dark red, has prominent grey streaks. His black eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Cartwright like his father before him.
