History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Qualen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Qualen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. During her travels, Joan and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Joan discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Joan fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lilith was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Priest; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He likes to wear blue tank tops with brown pants. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Vanuath is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Vanuath was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to get a good night's sleep
