History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Roger alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new bather responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Jasmine lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Jasmine was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jasmine's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her singing dream.
