History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gunter isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Gunter was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a carter and was forced into it by his family
