History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Animal Trainer, but he got bored and became a Mason. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Kaladan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
