History: She was born in a small forest village. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This man wears a black coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His hair is blue and curly. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Zephan will drive conversation. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Zephan took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Roge hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Roge liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Roge was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
