History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mason. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Thea is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Thea was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Description: This slender man stands about 3'4". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Burgell was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Burgell grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Burgell. He's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.
