History: Born in the east to a Fortune-teller, Cora learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Chem was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Navigator arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, River studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She's also a talented Jeweler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and sabotage a competitor
