History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Naal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Naal was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Carter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
