History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job.
