Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his hand crossbow with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His black fur is long and unkept. His yellow eyes peer out from beneath his small pastel hat.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She hates Gnomes with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
