History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Serpent took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up falchion and armor she uses now. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Fragrant does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Fragrant was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
