History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Keyleth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after River was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. River's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Being a Interpreter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has decided she is irredeemable
