History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born in a small plains village. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sorath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
