He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born in the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She struck the Servant job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and to be a barkeep again
