Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and white handkerchief worn on her right side. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. She has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Miner, and she later adopted a second son.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. He has wavy cinnamon fur. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Anverth's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anverth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anverth. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
