Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and gnomish compassion

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against illithids
