Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Varis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Varis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Barbena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Anthony is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with his Miner mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: A middle-aged man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is an amazing painter.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
