History: He was born in a small island village. Varis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Weaver. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Weaver for hire.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
