History: Mardnab hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After months of barely getting by, Shane managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has never given up on his singing dream.
