History: Thorin was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thorin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his religion dominates his actions

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is greedy; and retire the richest man in the north
