When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. At a young age her mother died while driving off some illithids. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in dagger use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
