History: Edge hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Carpenter. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
