History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Joser is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Marigold lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
