History: Mardnab hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Mardnab was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Geoffrey was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Geoffrey's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born into a rich family. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mason. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She's in love.
