History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Ovina was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Sailor. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Althaea is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Althaea studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Althaea took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland.
