History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student he started as a Laborer, but he got bored and became a Mortician. He has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mortician responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
