History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Windy took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bow and armor he uses now. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in the north to a Jeweler, Paggen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. With bright red hair. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Murook's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. His long beige fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Left-Handed was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Left-Handed's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Left-Handed and his spouse have recently divorced.
