History: She was born in the west. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull green iron scale mail. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burgell embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Adventurer born in the past three hundred years. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Adventurer and found it very stressful. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Umpen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he has money and likes to spend it
