History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her childhood dream was to be a Barkeep, but she was a colossal failure. She tends to her Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
