Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Balam isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Tiefling unity. He takes great joy in being the best Soapmaker in town.

History: Balam hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gifted student he started as a Laborer, but he got bored and became a Soapmaker. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: This man wears tattered old clothes. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has a very tight haircut. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Erevan was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Erevan decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
