History: Carlin lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Carlin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fletcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second son.
