Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
