History: Mâku lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now mingles about in high society.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He got into the Bounty Hunter business at a young age. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Modean took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bounty Hunter for hire.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Servant soon after.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is unsatisfied with his job
