He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'0" when asserting himself. His black hair is singed and shortened. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Howard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Howard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Howard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Murook was born with her father's beautiful face. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Description: With pastel face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she wears a robe, a symbol of death around her neck, and a rapier on her belt. Her brown hair is braided into rings. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
