History: Claira lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a simple tan robe with brown stripes complete with hood. His hair is white and very short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Joser embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. Through the years after Joser was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Joser's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He struck the Interpreter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy
