Description: She prefers to wear flannel. Her brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: She is a mite stocky and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her white crest is matted, messy, and big. This gold eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is a Bellfounder first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She struck the Bellfounder job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.
