Description: She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'7" when asserting herself. She has slicked back blonde hair. Her eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bethrynna grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bethrynna. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mason. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Quick was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a black cloak and cross-gartered white stockings. He has no hair. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man stands a little under 3'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a tan tunic with black highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around his shoes. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is a Ruler first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Qualen abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has achieved small success as a Ruler.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and regain custody of his son
