When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Aelar took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Shax was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Bork was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and expand his business
