He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shivering was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
