History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a trident on his belt. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the east to a Body Guard, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Body Guard soon after.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
