Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Umpen was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Umpen decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and wears yellow leather gloves, a yellow jacket, and tight pants. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her golden hair is wavy and long. She is baby faced.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Lia was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. During her travels, Lia and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Lia discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Lia fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shadow embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shadow was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Shadow has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others
