Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Shamash was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She tends to her Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by her family; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of a Interpreter, who enjoyed hunting, Ida was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ida grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ida. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
