History: She got into the Butcher business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This late middle aged woman is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak and is in decent physical shape. Her fur is beige and very short. She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Farmer again; and many orcs want her driven away
