History: The child of a Sage, who enjoyed hunting, Barendd was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Through the years after Surina was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Surina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Silaqui was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
