History: Theren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This slender woman stands about 6'5". She wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a scythe on her belt. She has moderate length blue crest. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
